Our 3ft Grange Profiled Picket Gate is a good choice when looking for a gate which is strong and ideal where an area needs to be enclosed but where visibility is a requirement.
With its featured profiled edging this gates creates an interesting spin on the classic picket gate.
Manufactured using specially selected pressure treated and planed timber, the pressure treatment the timber receives allows the natural colours of the wood to show through.
The planed finish on this gate would benefit from the optional planed round top fence posts to optimise the appearance of your picket gate and secure with the optional decorative ironmongery set.
Advantages – Professional range of gates, planed timber, profiled edging, pressure treated and the gate comes completely pre-assembled allowing for easy installation. (You will need to fix the ironmongery set if purchasing)
Pressure Treated - Being pressure treated this gate provides protection against rot and fungal decay for many years with the added benefit of being low maintenance. You’ll also save money in the long run as there’s no need to add the extra cost of treating the gate when it’s delivered. We guarantee all pressure treated products for 15 years against rot that are isolated from the ground.
Application of a semi-transparent stain or paint for pressure treated timber is recommended if you wish to maintain the colouring of the gate.
Timber – Planed timber means the timber provides a smooth, superior finish. If you wish to treat your gate with a colour of your choice the process is much quicker and easier on planed timber. Gates made from rough sawn timber does have a low manufacturing input which is why it is less expensive, this can be a false economy for when it comes to treating rough sawn timber it is much more labour intensive and requires more treatment.
All Grange gates are manufactured from Pine timber sourced from sustainable forests.
