Description

A summerhouse which provides a wide open view of your garden from the double doors which are fully glazed and the long elegant windows. The Shire Barclay Summerhouses' lovely characteristics make it a great addition to your garden.

The tongue and groove floor gives this summerhouse a finished look, making it much sturdier, so it won't be a problem to keep items like tables and chairs inside the summerhouse.

The Tongue and Groove floor makes the Shire Barclay Summerhouse stand out from other summerhouses in this price bracket.

Manufactured in the UK, Shire's summerhouses are renowned for their quality and probably manufacture the best value for money summerhouse in the UK today. The clever design of this corner summerhouse means it does not take up too much garden space.

All the timber used to manufacture the Barclay Summerhouse is from sustainable sources, so that you can feel good about buying this summerhouse. Shire garden buildings are made from a high grade ship-lap tongue and groove construction. Tongue and groove construction means the building is better sealed from the elements. The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life. This corner summerhouse comes with a free factory treatment in a golden brown and we recommend this is treated again upon arrival.

Framework: A robust planed 34x34mm (1 1/2' x 1 1/2') framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength.

Floor: The floor is manufactured from high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding.

Roof: The roof is constructed from 11mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB) with included roofing felt.

Walls: The walls are constructed using high quality 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding.

Doors: Proper Joinery Full Styrene Glazed double doors.

Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions.
