Established in 1945 Shire benefit from being adjacent to the Port of Wisbech through which Shire discharge timber into their warehouses. The timber is taken into the in-house planing mill for processing. Uniquely Shire control all aspects of the manufacturing process and are therefore able to guarantee the quality of the finished product. You can feel good about buying the Rutland Log Cabin as it is made here in the UK you are saving on the carbon footprint.
Only selected high quality materials from proven sustainable sources have been used throughout the construction of the Shire Log Cabin.
The handcrafted joinery half glazed single door and windows provides plenty of natural light as well as complementing the design of the building. Glazed with toughened glass throughout ensures peace of mind when children are around.
The window and door can be placed either side. All windows and doors are all handcrafted joinery and are fitted with the Shire draught seal system ensuring that you are kept snug during those winter months.

Important Information
Supplied flat packed for self assembly with comprehensive instructions.
Shire Log Cabins are delivered on a flat bed lorry and you will need to unload it by hand. The driver will assist with this.
Shire Log Cabins are made from kiln dried timber that must be laid flat and covered by tarpaulins or similar if stored outside prior to construction. This is to prevent moisture/rain/sun from distorting the timber.
Shire log cabins are built to order. If you cancel your order at any time after production has commenced you will be liable for the cost of work in progress to date of cancellation.
If you cancel an order after it has been despatched and you will be liable for the cost of the building and the cost of return unless in the unlikely event the building is faulty.
Although planning permission is not usually required we highly recommend that you contact your local authority if you have any doubt as to whether planning permission will be needed. Delivery
