When choosing a location for your Log Cabin allowance should be made for roof overhangs. It is absolutely essential that the base for the building is level. The Shire Solway Log Cabin is supplied with heavy duty green roofing felt, and all fixtures necessary to complete assembly. Floor joists are supplied properly pressure treated through the Shire in house facilities. Timber sizes stated are the actual size of the timber after planing and machining.
Log Sizes - The Shire Solway Log Cabin is supplied with sturdy 28mm logs as standard.
The tongue and groove of each log is the part that keeps the weather out and keeps you nice and snug inside. Our 28mm is superb at the job of keeping drafts out.
Standard Specifications:
