The Shed Baron metal sheds offer one of the best guarantees around - a 20 Year No Rust Perforation Guarantee which shows how confident they are about their metal sheds. The reason that Shed Baron are able to offer such a terrific guarantee lies in the fact that their sheds are made from hot dipped galvanised steel throughout, this specification means that the shed baron metal sheds will not crack and will maintain their lasting good looks. This is not the case for many other metals sheds on the market which only offer an inferior electro galvanized protection or part hot dipped galvanised steel which will make them vulnerable to rust and certainly not suitable for coastal areas with their high salt atmosphere. Sheds from our shed baron range are taller and sturdier than almost all other 'thin clad' steel sheds. They are also rot and rodent proof. The 10' wide range of workshops is available in 3 lengths.
Walls - Both the interior and exterior walls of these metal sheds consist of 5mic Epoxy Primer together with 20 mic modified polyester to the outside of the panel and 10 mic Epoxy Lt. Green to the inside. The panels have a 180g zinc coating/m2. This treatment to the Shed Baron metal sheds allows for a more substantial and aesthetically pleasing finish. The walls are made from fully hot-dipped galvanised steel with a 0.3mm thickness. The paint finish is not included in this thickness as it is applied after this measurement is taken whereas most other sheds on the market include the paint as part of the thickness of their steel.
Framework - The framework is made from fully hot-dipped galvanised steel. The Shed Baron base metal thickness is 0.55-0.7mm thick, which again is measured before any coating is applied. The framework is then coated in a 275g zinc coating/m2. This kind of manufacturing provides: extra thickness in the framing, greater stability to the overall structure and the thicker coating makes the building rust free, which is essential around the base area where most steel buildings would be most likely to rust.
Wall Heights - All Shed Baron Workshops have an eaves height of 200cm, which is taller than other metal sheds in the current market. The ridge height of the 10' wide Workshop is 225cm. Many other metal sheds use extra high gables which makes these sheds appear to be larger; the actual effect of this is that it reduces the height of the door opening. This means you have to duck slightly to get into other sheds, whereas our range allows most people to walk straight into the shed.
Workshop models consist of 2m wall panels, with double hinged doors that allow wider access for the end user. These items also have secondary roof beams to provide greater strength and stability to the roof.
Ventilated Gables - The gables are ventilated to allow consistent airflow throughout the shed and reduce the build up of condensation. This is an important feature to consider when purchasing a metal shed.

Base Information
The Shed Baron Grandale Workshops are not supplied with a base. It is essential that the buildings are anchored to a suitable concrete or slab base. Full details on preparing a base for these buildings will be sent prior to the unit being delivered.

Booking Delivery:
We offer a system of pre-booked delivery days. Once your order has been placed you will be contacted within 7 working days either by email or letter and given an expected week commencing date for your order. You will then be contacted 7 working days before the actual delivery date by phone and provided with a confirmed delivery date. You will also be given an AM or PM delivery slot.
Assembly Service:
We offer an optional assembly service on our Baron Grandale range of metal sheds. Please refer to the 'Choose any additional extras' above for prices. You will be sent an information pack detailing this service with your delivery date. Assembly Options of Shed, Timber Floor Kit and Foundation Kit are available for Mainland UK except Scottish highlands which will incur extra charges.
