Framework: A robust planed 34 x 34mm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2") framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength. Walls: The walls of the summerhouse are constructed using high quality 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding and is FSC certified timber. It uses specially designed tongue and groove cladding to give you a summerhouse that is not just durable but also a summerhouse that looks great in your garden. Also our planed tongue and groove shiplap cladding design closes the pores and together with its curved profile promotes the run off of water making the summerhouse more water resistant.
Floor: The floor is manufactured from high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding. The summerhouse floor also comes with high quality floor joists giving the summerhouse a solid sturdy feel and greater load capacity.
Roof: The roof is constructed from plywood and includes roofing felt. The plywood has a high uniform strength.
Doors: Double Doors are manufactured using proper joinery. Fully glazed with environmentally friendly styrene which is a safer alternative to traditional glass. The double doors on the Highclere Summerhouse allows plenty of light to flood in.
Windows - The summerhouse windows are glazed with environmentally friendly styrene which is a safer alternative to traditional glass, these full windows on the Highclere summerhouse allows plenty of light to flood into the summerhouse.
Full assembly instructions are provided with the summerhouse and with all the fittings in the box as standard you will be amazed at how simple your summerhouse is to install.
Please note All our summerhouses are pre-treated with a water based timber treatment for protection during transit. It is necessary that you treat the summerhouse with a high quality, spirit-based treatment prior to construction. This will protect the timber from weathering on your summerhouse and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to manufacturer's instructions.

Options Gallery:
The Top Coat Treatment: This features a combination of spray and hand application applied over the existing dip treatment. The treatment is 'Honey Gold' in colour and we estimate the building will not need further treatment for another 2 to 3 years. The Treatment is water based therefore more environmentally friendly than spirit treatments.
Installation - This is an excellent option if you want your summerhouse put up quick and hassle free. Just make sure you have a solid level base ready and that sufficient access is provided to allow the contractors to deliver and install your summerhouse. Please note that assembly can increase your delivery time of your summerhouse to up to 21 working days.
