Shire benefit from being located adjacent to the Port of Wisbech through which they discharge monthly shipments of timber into their warehouses. The timber is taken into the planning mill for processing. All Shire log cabins are supplied with pressure treated 38 x 63mm floor joists via their in house facilities. Super strong 20mm tongue and groove floor and roof boards are supplied for 34mm Shire log cabin and upwards.

Choose from 28mm or 34mm single tongue and groove or 44mm or 70mm tongue and groove for extra insulation. The grooves are 10mm deep so you ca be sure that each log will interlock correctly and that there is enough surrounding timber to make each log sturdy.

There is a choice of standard 3mm glass or upgrade to 4mm tempered. The luxury of Double glazing is available too for your Shire Log cabin.

Heavy duty roofing felt is supplied with your Shire Log cabin or if you prefer there is the option of Felt tiles in Brown, Green, Black or Red.

Don’t like the windows in the standard Shire log cabin you have seen, well there is a selection of joinery windows and doors to choose from so you can change the look. All external windows and doors are fitted with Shires draught seal system.

An optional verandah or terrace will add extra external space to your Shire Log cabin.
