Growing vegetables can be a great money saving tool, especially in the cost cutting frame of mind we’re in at the moment. As well as having that element, you get the rewarding feeling of growing your own food and it often tastes better than the supermarket alternative.

“Why compost?” you ask. Well composting has numerous benefits to your garden, so if you have green fingers it may well be in your interests to start now. Composting adds nutrients to the soil, which helps the plants grow and be healthier. Not only that but you’ll be saving space in landfill sites, so doing a bit more for our environment.
