B is for Bike Store.

B is for Bike Store. Personally I used to think a Bike store was a waste of money and space in the garden. I have a shed why do I need a bike store, This was my thinking until my children learnt how to ride a bike and I began to use my bike more often.

The bikes fit easily into my 10 x 6 shed, along with the bbq, garden furniture and various garden tools and equipment such as the lawn mower. So who needs a bike store. Well actually I need a bike store.

I remember it well when I realised I needed a bike store. Sunday afternoon and the family had just finished lunch together. I decided I would watch the grand prix whilst my Sunday lunch settled. The kids didn’t want to watch the grand prix but soon decided they would go oout to play on their bikes. They came running up to me asking if I would get their bikes out of the shed. I put the grand prix on hold whilst I went into the garden to get the bikes out of the shed.

Out comes the bbq and lawn mower amongst other things to make room for the bikes to come out. I then had to take my bike out and finally I was able to take the childrens bikes out. What a palaver to get the bikes out of the shed. Then I had to put everything I had taken out back into the shed. Half an hour later it starts raining and the children decide to play in the house.

To avoid the bikes getting wet I zoomed back in the garden took out the bbq and lawn mower amongst other things to make room for the bikes to be out back in. Oh for a bike store. Later on that evening I decided I would go for a cycle. So back into the shed again taking out the bbq and lawn mower amongst other things to make room for my bike to be brought out. Then I had to take out my childrens bikes so I could get at mine.

What a palaver.

So out on my bike ride I was thinking how I could make life easier. The answer was a bike store. Yes a bike store. So now I have my bike store yes I sometimes need to take out my bike so I can take out the childrens bikes but now I don’t have to take out the bbq and lawn mower amongst other things to make room for my bike to be brought out because i now have bike store.

So for a bike store at Elbec here is a linky.
