The garden sheds that look like a house are known as Apex roof Sheds, the ones which have a flat roof sloping from back to front are known as pent roof garden sheds.
Normally with an Apex roof shed you will find the door in what we call the gable end ie the end under the pointy bit. The gable end is normally the shorter end too. Pent roof garden shed will have a high side usually the side with the windows and a low side usually the other side. The door though can be fitted in many different places which is what makes them a favourite for the serious gardener. You can have the door in the gable end ie the vertical wall between the ends of a roof. Or in the wall where the windows are. This gives you loads of configurations or options for putting the door and windows and allows you to place a garden shed in one of those awkward spots in the garden
