Igloo or Shed? Which is the Best Option?
With all this snow around, there have been new reports of some young entrepreneurs building their own igloo.
Snow is free, when it is around, delivered to your doorstep even when conditions are bad.
A shed from Elbec starts at £98. The larger the shed the more you will need to pay. An igloo will be the same price no matter what size you go for. Surely this is too good to be true. An igloo over a shed surely is a must!
Building a small igloo enough to house 2 or 3 people will take 3 to 6 hours depending on experience. A shed from Elbec can take as little as ½ an hour if you have built a shed before. The larger the igloo the longer it will take to build, much like a shed really.
Depending on the size of an igloo, the igloo can hold pretty much the same as a shed.
So here is the scenario. Snow falls, free building material for igloos delivered direct to your door for free.
Tools required for igloo building is a spade and saw and a small axe.
Over the weekend you build your igloo. Job done. Put all your garden equipment and tools into the igloo and there you have it free storage area.
You then decide to visit the mother in law (who has a lovely shed) for the weekend safe in the knowledge that all your garden stuff is secure in your new igloo. Who needs a shed?
You arrive home after a great weekend. You decide to do some work in the garden. You go to collect your tools and guess what they are in the garden in a pool of water. You look in your neighbour’s garden and they have a lovely shed. The neighbour shouts you should have gone to Elbec for a shed. They have lots of lovely sheds.
So there it is a shed has certain advantages over an igloo. A shed won’t melt, your garden stuff will remain protected from the weather in a shed and we also deliver our sheds free to the door just like an igloo!
So even though there is lots of snow around it wont last of course and so a shed for the garden wins hands down. A shed from Elbec will last longer.
