So it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for, we have in the office today Lord Sugar (Sir Allen). He’s looked over the sheds I found and now it’s time for the verdict, are any of our sheds Sir Allen’s dream shed? Will he be placing an order for a shed today and then head straight home to prepare his shed base? Only time will tell…
6' x 4' Sheriff Overlap Apex Garden Shed With Single Door
“I do feel this shed has potential and I can certainly see that it is excellent value for money. The rustic look of the shed and the styrene glazed windows certainly make it an option for me. I just hope if I choose this shed it’s going to be able to live up too my high standards.”
Sounds like he liked the look of this shed, but is worried about whether it could live up to his expectations. I believe the 10 year anti-rot warranty will swing this into Sir Allen’s good books.
20' x 10' Sheriff Platinum Tongue and Groove Apex Workshop
“This is such a big shed, I really don’t know whether I could fill it, however it really is a quality shed and I’m not going to fire this shed lightly. The tongue and groove cladding will be excellent at keeping the rain out and is also going to make the shed look great in my garden. Maybe in this case I’ll have to get myself a nice new set of tools to fill up the space.”
I think Sir Allen underestimates here the uses that the space within the shed can be used for. It’s not just garden storage, it’s storage of anything from documents from the office to all those old Amstrad computers he’s got lying around!
(8' x 8' approx) Shire Hampton Corner Summerhouse
“This summerhouse is just a bit pretty for me, however the double doors and the opening windows make it a very tempting idea for a present for Mrs. Sugar. It’ll certainly look good in the garden but I’m not sure there’s much use for a summerhouse in the winter. I do want to give this a chance but I’m going to need some convincing that it’s not just a one trick pony.”
It’s a common problem that people have, the name summerhouse really doesn’t do this any favors. Remember with the double doors closed and secured this summerhouse can be used for storage all year round. If Sir Allen needs some more reasons to buy a shed in the autumn, he should check out Garden Greggs blog on “Reasons to Buy a Shed in the Autumn” from the 13th of October.
So that’s it for now folks, tune in tomorrow when we’ll be hearing Sir Allen’s opinion on the final two sheds and we of course find out whether which shed (if any), is going to be hired!
