Why buy a Pent shed?
These are the sheds with a roof that slopes in one direction , normally from the front of the shed to the back. The front of the shed is therefore a little higher than the back of the shed.
They are perfect to put against a wall or a fence. Sometimes customers prefer the back of the shed to be higher than the front of the shed and this is known as a reverse slope.
The gable is therefore usually the sides of the sheds rather than the front of the shed. They quite often offer a lot more useful headroom than the apex shed. Unless an Apex shed has a reasonable amount of eaves height than in an apex shed you can usually only have enough headroom down the middle of the shed.
A Pent shed is therefore usually better for storing tall items such as lawn mowers, garden rakes and bicycles. They are usually preferred as a work shed to an apex shed.
Pent sheds are very flexible too, in that there are many window door configurations ie some customers prefer door access on the front of the shed, ie in the middle with a window either side or towards the left or the right of the front of the shed with the windows next to the door. Access can also be on the gable ends usually where there is a reverse slope with windows across the front of the shed.
This is great if you want to use your pent shed, like a potting shed.
