Why spending more on a shed, can help you save more.
On the face of it when you are looking for a garden shed you are tempted to find the cheapest shed and buy that shed. Buying cheap is not always the best way. Yes we do have genuine sales and there are shed bargains to be had, especially at Elbec garden buildings.
Recently elbec have had the Durham 8 x 6 garden shed and the Jersey 13 x 7 garden shed. Both saving you incredible amounts of money and which are very good sheds indeed. These type of deals I agree are worth going for.
There are some very poor sheds on the market. Sheds that are being sold without floors just to give you the impression they are very cheap. These same sheds are usually tiny and use as little timber as possible which isn’t of the best grade in the first place. These are the sort of sheds you should avoid.
For example you may be looking for a 10 x 6 shed. You can pick a cheap shed up fro around £400. How long will the shed last for? You will be lucky to get 5 or 6 years. Buy a professional shed from Elbec with 2 x 2 or 3 x 2 framework and timber which is of the best quality around. The timber used in these sheds is from slow grown sustainable forests which give a tight grain and therefore there is less sap in the timber which gives natural resistance to decay. Treat the shed on a regular basis ie every 2 or 3 years and your shed should last at least 2 years, For a shed that will cost around £800 in the time your professional shed has lasted you may have had to but at least 4 sheds in the same time, therefore buying a professional shed from Elbec will save you more in the long run.
