The 8 x 6 Forest Oakley Apex Summerhouse adopts the modern aesthetics of summerhomes with a more airy design in mind. The apex roof and wide-opening double doors make you feel closer to nature and an open feel to the summerhouse. The contemporary look and sizeable design make it perfect for the average garden.

This comfy summerhouse is a great fit for a variety of gardens, giving a quiet space for relaxation. Furniture pieces like tables and chairs would fit comfortably in the summerhouse, giving an excellent area to have guests. The straight-cut timber wall cladding overlaps to help with water runoff, the ergonomic design makes the building of the summerhouse simple. As Forest sheds and summerhouses use additional timber, you can rely on them to weather any bad conditions.

The apex roof and wide-opening doors allow you to bring the outdoors inside of your summerhouse. The four long windows allow an abundance of light to permeate throughout the summerhouse giving sufficient lighting, they can be configured in 3 different locations on the depth, and the wood is pressure-treated to provide long-lasting enjoyment. The double doors are excellent for ventilation, allowing you to open up the summerhouse for fresh air. As the weather gets colder, you can close the doors to transform it into a cosy glazed garden room for entertaining your guests.

About Your Order:

The Oakley is a UK-made summerhouse that features FSC® certified timber. Pressure-treated timbers are used throughout the construction of the summerhouse. The treatment gives you a 15-year guarantee against fungal damage and rot. The simple design makes it easy to assemble, and all the fixtures and fittings required for assembly are provided.

The summerhouse includes hard-wearing fixings, high-quality roof felt, and easy-to-follow assembly instructions. The pressure-treated, straight-cut overlapping boards are fixed to sturdy internal framing for strong, weather-resistant panels.

Summerhouse Aftercare:

The summerhouse is made from pressure-treated timbers to excel in durability and preservation. Pressure treated products do not require annual re-treatment. These products have the anti-rot solution in the timber structure, giving them improved rot resistance. The treatment may leave a greenish tinge on the wood; this is normal and will grey over time. Forest Garden Pressure Treated products come with a 15-year Anti-Rot guarantee. The manufacturer advises that if you do want to personalise your summerhouse with a different colour ensure the treatment you choose is recommended for pressure-treated timber. What our manufacturer would recommend for even more longevity and extra protection, is to apply a water repellent product to your summerhouse.

Delivery

Important Information:   Timescales are indicated on this page.  Lead times are counted in working days (Monday – Friday) excluding Bank Holidays. You will be contacted towards the end of your timescale by either Forest's Delivery Team or Forest's preferred carrier.  Neither elbec nor Forest will be able to supply any further information on your delivery date during this timescale.

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY. All of the Forest products are delivered flat packed, (other than fence panels which are delivered fully constructed) direct to your home, and are supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.

Booking Delivery

You will be contacted towards the end of your timescale by Forest/their Courier with a delivery date. If this date is not convenient you can reply to the message to book a more convenient delivery date. The delivery timescales are as stated on the product page.

Prior to Delivery

Once you have a confirmed delivery date if you provide us with a mobile number, we can confirm the day before delivery if your delivery will be morning or afternoon.

Upon Delivery

Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health and safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but – upon request – may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.

We recommend against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivery and checking that all parts are present, and we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays

Installation

This option will extend the leadtime by up to 3-4 weeks.

If you have selected the installation option the product and installation of your product may be on different days. Once you have been given a delivery date by Forest's delivery team you will then be contacted by their installation team to confirm your installation date and the process. The installation team will require a minimum of 2' clearance all the way around your building and the installation team will not be able to enter through your property.
