The Cali Pent Garden Office & Storage, measuring 16 x 8, is an elegant and practical summerhouse that comes with an attached storage shed. The pent roof, windows, and fully glazed double doors allow plenty of natural light to enter the interior, creating a bright and inviting space perfect for a stylish garden office.

Transform your garden with this top-of-the-line summerhouse that offers ample interior space for various purposes. You can set up an office space, a seating area, a gym, and a dining area for entertaining guests. Professional installation is included, and creating a firm and level base, preferably with concrete, is essential.

The summerhouse has double doors for excellent ventilation. It features an external cladding made of an engineered wood board with a cedar finish treated with advanced adhesive resins, water-resistant waxes, and zinc borate, providing four layers of protection against fungal decay and insect damage. The binding agents and resins used are low-emitting, and the engineered wood board is highly durable and resistant to buckling, peeling, cracking, and chipping.

Maintenance is minimal, and periodic repainting will keep it looking new. The interior cladding is made of moisture-resistant MDF with an Oxford profile finish, and the walls and roof are insulated with YBS Airtec Double, which is equivalent to 55mm of polystyrene.

The flooring is made of tongue and groove boards with 25mm Celotex insulation, and the interior features herringbone vinyl flooring. The joinery on the windows and doors is handcrafted, adding to the modern aesthetic of the summerhouse. The front window and doors are interchangeable, and you can upgrade to UPVC or aluminium windows and doors in anthracite grey, black, or white at an additional cost. These options will reduce the door height slightly, and prices are available on request.

This garden office pod includes side storage with a single door that can be secured with a padlock to keep your belongings safe.

About Your Order:

The Shire Garden Office Pod is a British-made garden building made from FSC® certified timber. You will get a low-carbon footprint summerhouse made from ethically sourced materials. It comes with a 10-year warranty. 

Price includes assembly by Shire’s professional fitting team. You’ll need a firm and level concrete base. Our manufacturer’s assembly team will contact you requesting images of the base.  Occasionally, they may visit the site to confirm the base is suitable for assembly. Once they have confirmed the base is appropriate, you will be given a delivery/assembly date (delivery and assembly are on the same day).

Garden Office Aftercare:

The home garden office has been treated using a proprietary zinc borate-based process.  As this is an advanced treatment, it makes it a maintenance-free garden building. If required, you can repaint the building to keep it looking new.

Delivery and Installation Timeframes

We offer same-day delivery and installation services. While we strive to complete the installation on the same day, larger buildings may require more than one day for installation. You can find the estimated delivery and installation lead time for this product on the product page above. Our lead times are calculated in working days (Monday - Friday) and do not include Bank Holidays. These estimates are sourced from the manufacturers and serve as a general guideline, subject to fluctuations in demand. We provide this information in good faith to represent the expected delivery during that period. Please note that some remote areas might experience slightly longer lead times.

Booking Delivery and Installation

Delivery and Installation Procedure

Within 5 working days, Shire, the manufacturer, will reach out to you. This communication will be via either a text message or an automated telephone message. If a mobile number is not provided, the latter method will be used. This message will include the necessary website link where you can review and accept the assembly's terms and conditions. Prompt acceptance of these terms is crucial to avoid any potential delays. Once you've agreed to the terms and conditions, Shire will contact you within the specified timeframe to arrange the delivery and assembly date for your order. Please note that this process might take more time during peak seasons. Keep in mind that the installation team will require unobstructed access to your garden, a minimum of 18" clearance around the building, and a solid, level foundation. It's important to know that Shire's installation team cannot bring the building through your home, as they lack the insurance coverage for entering a customer’s property.

Delivery Day

The manufacturer, Shire, handles the delivery process. Typically, this item will be delivered using a 17-ton flat-bed vehicle, similar in size to a council refuse lorry. Deliveries are scheduled within the time frame of 7 am to 7 pm."
