Features

Within the confines of this minimalist storage unit are a series of features that give the LoungeBox its status as a high-performance outdoor storage solution. An upper lid, created with powder-coated aluminium for a strong but lighter build, is a convenient way to retrieve items from inside the box. Two gas-assisted spring dampers give you that premium feeling when accessing the LoungeBox, as they ensure the upper lid opens and closes at a controlled speed that stops the lid from slamming closed.

The impact of an outdoor setting was the utmost consideration in designing the Biohort LoungeBox, as shown by its rainwater-proof qualities and very strong construction. The LoungeBox's side walls use a steel plate that has been galvanised by a process of dipping into molten zinc, giving the materials a protective layer against damage and corrosion. This is expanded on further with a polyamide coating that, alongside providing a consistent and colourful finish to your LoungeBox, creates another protective barrier against rust perforation. Powder-coated aluminium used for the box's lid is similarly resilient to the elements. These different components are tightly bound with stainless steel hinges, screws, and nuts and will stand the test of time.

To give owners the confidence to store more valuable items like gardening or sports equipment, the LoungeBox features a twist grip handle that locks by key. A spare key is also included.

Accessories

elbec is excited to make the range of accessories from Biohort available to the customer, allowing owners to expand the capabilities of their LoungeBox according to their specific needs. We think the addition of a Suspension Basket (B or C depending on the size of your chosen LoungeBox) are a smart accessory to include, giving the user an ability to organise and store smaller items within the larger box.

Additional Information

Your Biohort LoungeBox 200 will be delivered in a disassembled state, ready for home assembly. It helps to have some DIY experience when putting your storage box together, but Biohort thankfully provides an illustrated instruction manual that ensures a relatively easy experience in completing the construction.

Biohort offers an impressive 20-year guarantee against corrosion on the LoungeBox, so owners will not need to worry about rust perforation and the other wear issues that can sometimes crop up. Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO THE KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY OF YOUR HOME, AND ARE FLAT-PACKED AND READY FOR ASSEMBLY.

Booking Your Delivery

After placing your order you will be contacted by email towards the end of the timescale by Biohort the manufacturer with general delivery information and a link to track your delivery. You will subsequently be contacted by the carrier with a delivery date and time for your order.

Please Note: To be able to make the delivery to you, you will need to ensure that there is width clearance of 3 metres, and height clearance of 4 metres, and accessible for a 38-tonne vehicle to pass and turn. Should you require a smaller vehicle, you will need to inform elbec as soon as possible. Any delay in doing so could incur an additional charge.

Upon Delivery
Delivery is between 7am-7pm. Your order is delivered either kerbside or on your driveway. Unfortunately, due to insurance liabilities regarding health and safety, the driver will be not able to take your goods through to the back of your property but may be requested to place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. We would not risk damaging your property while delivering a product to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.

It is important that the customer notes any damage to any of the boxes upon delivery on the delivery documents in case any of the parts inside are damaged.
