How high can garden structures be?
We have a large range of garden structures, and our options are available in a range of different sizes. Generally, any garden structure or building should be less than one storey, or 2.5m in height.
Some rules, such as how close the structure is to your boundary, can dictate how high you can go with the new structure. An arbour or trellis fence will not usually require planning permission. However, if you are planning a large garden structure or other addition, you should check with your local authority to ensure there will be no issues.
