Description
Designed for expansive garden spaces, the Lugarde Select Wooden Gazebo Dorchester 488x300cm in Brown Wood Oil is as functional as it is elegant. Its wide layout combines a solid side wall and two rear panels, offering protection from the elements without closing off the space. The result is a spacious, open-front veranda perfect for everything from outdoor dining and entertaining to creating a tranquil garden retreat.
The wood oil brings out the grain with a subtle warmth while also reducing ongoing maintenance. Clean horizontal panelling, sturdy corner posts, and a sleek flat roof give the structure its crisp, contemporary character. Constructed from 28 mm-thick, kiln-dried spruce and pre-treated in a rich brown wood oil, the Dorchester offers enhanced resistance to weather while showcasing the timber's natural beauty.
Measuring 488x300cm, this gazebo offers ample room for a long dining table, outdoor sofa set, or even a barbecue and prep area. Adding the optional EPDM rubber roofing gives you a durable, seamless waterproof layer, ensuring this space stays dry and usable throughout the year.

Enhance the durability and weather resistance of your Lugarde gazebo with our high-quality EPDM roofing solutions. The gazebo comes without roof covering, allowing you to either select our EPDM Rubber Roof option or purchase your own roofing felt from a local supplier. Designed to provide superior protection, EPDM is a versatile and long-lasting material that ensures your timber structures remain secure against the elements. Its strong waterproof properties, combined with resistance to UV rays and temperature fluctuations, make it an ideal choice for outdoor use.
Rain Pipe
Enhance your Lugarde Select Gazebo with optional extras tailored to your needs and elevate its functionality. To ensure effective water drainage, choose a Zinc Rainpipe or Plastic Rainpipe set, each designed to fit your gazebo roof (up to 18 m² with a single or double outlet). Both options ensure smooth water flow, safeguarding your structure and surrounding area from water damage.
Plastic floor beams
Upgrade your structure’s foundation with plastic floor beams—a smart, durable alternative to timber. Designed to resist warping, rot, and moisture damage, these beams offer long-term strength without the upkeep associated with wood. They won’t attract pests, don’t require staining or treatment, and remain stable in all weathers. Lightweight yet sturdy, plastic beams also make installation faster and simpler. Plastic is a practical and proven choice for a reliable, maintenance-free base that stands the test of time.

Does A Gazebo Require Planning Permission?
The gazebo designs have been created to adhere to planning permission guidelines. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not need planning permission for a gazebo. We advise checking with your local authorities before constructing your garden gazebo.
Gazebo Base
We recommend that the gazebo is sited on pre-laid, level, solid and dry ground. A foundation of hardcore, compacted, and concrete to give a stable and even footing for your veranda to sit on. You can request 'Guidelines for Preparing a Concrete Base' through our 'Contact Us' Section. This gazebo is supplied with comprehensive fitting instructions and fixings provided (anchor kits are not supplied). Two people are required to complete the build.
Gazebo Aftercare
The Lugarde Gazebo is supplied pre-treated in brown wood oil. To keep the protected timber looking good, a yearly veranda treatment, will maintain the high-quality finish and retain the 5-year anti-rot warranty. A 1-year manufacturer's warranty is included as standard.
