Greenhouse Combi Base

We recommend that the greenhouse and shed are sited on pre-laid, level, solid and dry ground. A foundation of hardcore, compacted, and concrete to give a stable and even footing for your garden building to sit on. You can request 'Guidelines for Preparing a Concrete Base' through our 'Contact Us' Section. This greenhouse and shed combi is supplied with comprehensive fitting instructions and fixings provided. Two people are required to complete the build.

Wooden Greenhouse Combi Aftercare

The greenhouse and shed have timbers with a dip-treated base coat to protect them during transit. You must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation. Using the treatment after installation, followed by consistent annual treatment of the garden greenhouse combi, will maintain the high-quality finish and is a requirement of the 10-year anti-rot guarantee. A 1-year manufacturer's warranty is included as standard.

Optional Heater

Enhance plant growth in your greenhouse with the 2400-W combo heater and fan, equipped with a digital thermostat for year-round climate control. It maintains your set temperature, circulates air during warmer months, and is splash-resistant, making it ideal for greenhouse environments. 

Cost-effective and quiet, it also features an auto-reset safety function. CE approved for use in Europe and the UK. You can find this product in the "Choose Additional Extras" section above.

Please note that the heater is from a different manufacturer and will be delivered separately from the Holkham Greenhouse. The estimated delivery time for the heater is approximately 7-10 working days.

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE AND ARE FLAT PACKED READY FOR ASSEMBLY

FREE delivery is offered to the majority of mainland UK postcodes but some areas may incur a surcharge and some postcode areas are not covered at all. Please check your postcode in the ‘Delivery cost checker’ above to confirm availability and any possible surcharges.

Delivery Lead-times:

The product page above displays the estimated delivery lead time, which is specified in working days (Monday - Friday) and excludes Bank Holidays. Although the manufacturer provides these estimated lead times in good faith, they are not guaranteed due to fluctuations in demand. However, the lead times are representative of delivery at the time of estimation. It's worth noting that delivery may take a little longer in some remote areas.

Installation option of Greenhouse:

If you are choosing the installation option after placing your order you’ll be contacted within 5 working days by Shire the manufacturer either by a text message or automated telephone message (the latter if a mobile number is not supplied). This message will supply you with the name of the website to go on to where you will be required to accept the terms and conditions for assembly. Any delay in accepting these terms and conditions may affect your timescale. Once you have accepted these terms and conditions you will be contacted during the timescale with a date for the delivery/assembly of your order. The installation option will extend your lead time by up to 15-25 working days. This may take longer during seasonal periods. Please be aware that the installation team will require full access to your garden, 18" clearance all around the building and a firm and level base. Shire's installation team will not bring a building through your home as they are not covered by insurance to enter a customer’s home.

The delivery leadtime for our painting service the product page above displays the estimated delivery lead time, which is specified in working days (Monday - Friday) and excludes Bank Holidays.

Booking Date:

This product will be delivered to you by Knowles Carrier, acting on behalf of Shire, the manufacturer. Shire's dedicated delivery team will reach out to you directly to provide information about your delivery date.

Upon Delivery
Knowles, a courier representing the manufacturer Shire, is responsible for delivering the item. The delivery is typically carried out using an 18-ton vehicle within the timeframe of 8am to 8pm. Please note that the delivery drivers are insured to deliver only to the kerb side or driveway, and will not take any risks that may result in property damage while delivering the product. Additionally, we regret to inform you that delivery personnel will not be able to enter your property. Finally, the driver will hand-ball the item off during delivery.

It is not advisable to engage a third party for product installation before its delivery and verification of all parts. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by a third party.
