Greenhouse Combi Base

We recommend that the greenhouse and shed are sited on pre-laid, level, solid and dry ground. A foundation of hardcore, compacted, and concrete to give a stable and even footing for your garden building to sit on. You can request 'Guidelines for Preparing a Concrete Base' through our 'Contact Us' Section. This greenhouse and shed combi is supplied with comprehensive fitting instructions and fixings provided. Two people are required to complete the build.

Wooden Greenhouse Combi Aftercare

The greenhouse and shed have timbers with a dip-treated base coat to protect them during transit. You must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation. Using the treatment after installation, followed by consistent annual treatment of the garden greenhouse combi, will maintain the high-quality finish and is a requirement of the 10-year anti-rot guarantee. A 1-year manufacturer's warranty is included as standard.

Optional Heater

Enhance plant growth in your greenhouse with the 2400-W combo heater and fan, equipped with a digital thermostat for year-round climate control. It maintains your set temperature, circulates air during warmer months, and is splash-resistant, making it ideal for greenhouse environments. 

Cost-effective and quiet, it also features an auto-reset safety function. CE approved for use in Europe and the UK. You can find this product in the "Choose Additional Extras" section above.

Please note that the heater is from a different manufacturer and will be delivered separately from the Holkham Greenhouse. The estimated delivery time for the heater is approximately 7-10 working days.

Delivery

FREE delivery is available to most mainland UK postcodes. However, some areas may incur a surcharge and certain postcodes are excluded. Please use the ‘Delivery Cost Checker’ above to confirm availability and any applicable surcharges. This product is delivered via our supplier’s third-party carrier.

Delivery Leadtimes
The estimated delivery lead time for this product is identified on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday - Friday) excludes Bank Holidays. These estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturers and are not guaranteed - due to fluctuation in demand - but are provided in good faith and are representative of delivery at that time. Some remote areas will take a little longer.

Delivery Date
You will be contacted towards the end of the delivery timescale with a confirmed delivery date. If you have any questions regarding your delivery, you can contact our supplier directly on 01945 465 295, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm.

Upon Delivery
Delivery will be made by Shire’s designated courier, typically using a 17-ton flat-bed vehicle (similar in size to a council refuse lorry). Deliveries usually take place between 7:00am and 7:00pm.

Please note that drivers are only insured to deliver to the kerbside or driveway. To avoid any risk of damage to your property, they are unable to pass through your home or access restricted areas. All deliveries are hand-unloaded by the driver.

We would recommend against arranging for a third party to install the building before it's been delivered and checked that all parts are present, as we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Installation option
With the installation option your building will be delivered and assembled on the same day.  If you are choosing the installation option after placing your order you’ll be contacted within 5 working days by Shire, the manufacturer either by a text message or automated telephone message (the latter if a mobile number is not supplied). This message will supply you with the name of the website to go on to where you will be required to accept the terms and conditions for assembly. Any delay in accepting these terms and conditions may affect your timescale. Once you have accepted these terms and conditions you will be contacted during the timescale with a date for the delivery/assembly of your order. The installation option will extend your lead time by up to 15-25 working days. This may take longer during seasonal periods. Please be aware that the installation team will require full access to your garden, 18" clearance all around the building and a firm and level base. Shire's installation team will not bring a building through your home as they are not covered by insurance to enter a customer’s home.
