This robust cladding is supported by an ultra-heavy-duty 56 mm x 44 mm internal frame, providing exceptional strength and rigidity. The commitment to quality continues underfoot with a 12mm T&G floor, strong enough to handle heavy machinery and storage, and resting on pressure-treated bearers to prevent ground dampness. The roof is also solid 12mm T&G, finished with a high-grade, 140g reinforced mineral felt to ensure the contents remain completely dry and protected.

Wooden Shed Base Kit

A solid base sets your shed up for a lifetime of use. This optional wooden shed base kit does not replace the included floor but fixes to it to provide support and help create a level surface. Our optional shed base kit is crafted from UC4 pressure-treated 95x44mm timber bearers and tailored to fit your Powersheds perfectly. Designed for straightforward self-assembly, each base section aligns precisely with the shed’s floor panels, and it includes all fixings and clear instructions.

Opening Window Kit

On windowed models, you can improve your garden building with our optional Opening Window Kit, meticulously designed to bring in natural light and fresh air for essential ventilation. Crafted from the same high-quality timber as your shed, this unit is perfectly suited for our dip-treated models and is incredibly easy to install in just a few minutes. Because it is provided as an extra alongside your order, you have the ultimate flexibility to choose exactly which window space becomes an opening unit, seamlessly replacing one standard pane.

Fitted with toughened glass for extra strength and peace of mind, the opening window integrates flawlessly into your shed's aesthetic. You do not have to finalise your decision until you are actively building the structure, ensuring the final layout works perfectly for your garden’s airflow and daily use.

EPDM Rubber Roofing

For the ultimate in long-term protection, you can upgrade your shed with our high-quality EPDM Rubber Roofing. Engineered for extraordinary weather resistance, this fully waterproof, UV-resistant membrane delivers a seamless, modern finish that enhances the overall look of your building. Boasting an expected 50-year lifespan and backed by a lifetime membrane warranty from the supplier, it serves as a highly resilient barrier that resists rain, snow, and temperature fluctuations. When selected, this cut-to-size premium option (measured in feet specifically to fit Powersheds) is delivered separately and replaces the standard roofing felt.

Important Application Note: Your EPDM kit includes a water-based adhesive, which must be stored and applied at room temperature (above 10°C). If temperatures are forecast to fall below freezing within the first 48 hours of application, you will need to source and use a solvent-based bonding adhesive instead. Please note that, as the EPDM is bespoke and cut to your specific roof, it cannot be returned or refunded unless it is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Garden Shed Aftercare

Unlike many sheds, this building is supplied pre-treated, so no initial treatment is required before use. To maintain protection and keep the timber looking its best, we recommend re-treating approximately 12 months after installation and annually thereafter with a high-quality, water-repellent timber treatment.

To keep your shed in excellent condition, follow a simple annual maintenance routine. Ensure good airflow by keeping the surrounding area clear, remove any debris from the roof felt, and occasionally lubricate the hinges and lock to ensure smooth operation.

Please note: The 10-year anti-rot guarantee does not cover the roof felt or hardware.

Does my shed need a base?

Yes. For your shed to remain stable and weatherproof, it must sit on a firm, level surface. Concrete, paving slabs or timber bearers all work well.

For ease, we offer an optional purpose-built Shed Base Kit, made to match your Powershed and make setup simple.

Can I choose where the door and windows go?

Yes, you can. Powersheds are built with adaptability in mind. During assembly, you’ll choose the exact positioning of your windows and doors (excluding 7x5 models)—there is no need to pre-select. Each shed comes with full instructions and fixings for a smooth build.

Do I have to fit the glazing myself?

No, the glazing is pre-fitted at the factory.

Can I add an extra door?

Absolutely. Want double doors or a tunnel-through design? You can upgrade to a two-door setup. Contact us for pricing and options.

Note: Sheds with high-security locks may carry an additional charge for dual-door installations.

How secure is this garden shed?

The shed is fitted with a robust press lock-and-key mechanism as standard. Combined with the toughened glass (on windowed models), which is highly resistant to impact, and the exceptionally strong internal corner bracing, it provides a very secure environment for your valuable garden equipment.

Does the timber come pre-treated?

Yes, the timber is supplied with a special formula enhanced preserver that includes a wax additive. This helps the wood resist the elements from day one, though we strongly recommend ongoing annual treatments to maintain optimum protection and validate your 10-year guarantee.

What is the roof covering made of?

We use an advanced, tear-proof and water-resistant polyester felt. It is significantly more durable than standard shed felt, offering superior, long-lasting protection against heavy rain.

Delivery/Returns

How Your Order Will Arrive

All Powersheds product are delivered flat-packed on a pallet, ready for self-assembly. Delivery is made to the kerbside or driveway using a 26-tonne HIAB vehicle with the following approximate dimensions:

- Length: 10.65m
- Width: 2.6m 
- Height: 14ft 6in (varies depending on load and whether the vehicle arm is extended)

If there are any access restrictions that might affect delivery, please let us know beforehand to avoid any failed delivery charges or delays.

The HIAB (lorry-mounted crane) unloads your order as a single pack. It needs:

- Sufficient space for stabilising legs
- A clear area free of obstacles, steep inclines, or low overhangs

Important: The driver will assess whether it’s possible to place the pack on your driveway or over a gate/fence on the day. This cannot be guaranteed in advance.

The driver cannot assist with unpacking or moving items manually.

On the Day of Delivery

We ask that someone is present when the goods arrives to advise where the driver should leave the pallet. If no one is available or access is not possible due to undisclosed issues, redelivery fees may apply.

Please do not book any installers or tradespeople until you've received and checked your order, as we cannot be held responsible for any costs due to delayed or rescheduled deliveries.

Note:  Deliveries can only be made using a 26-tonne vehicle. If your property is inaccessible for a vehicle of this size, we may be unable to deliver your order.

Check Your Access

Before booking delivery, consider the route to your property. Are there any of the following?

- Narrow lanes or tight turns 
- Low bridges, arches, or trees 
- Dead ends or steep hills 
- Double red lines or no-stopping zones 
- Roadworks or obstructions 
- Weight or height restrictions 
- Limited space to turn or unload 

Please let us know in advance of any issues to help avoid complications.

Booking Your Delivery

Our delivery partner will contact you approximately two weeks before your delivery to arrange a convenient date.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated lead times are shown on each product page and are in working days (Monday–Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). These are estimates based on current demand and are not guaranteed.

Remote areas may take longer. The following postcodes are on an extended delivery time:

AB, DD, EX, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA, PL, PH, SA, TQ, TR

For offshore locations (e.g. Isle of Man, Outer Hebrides), please contact us for a delivery quote.

Returns

If you decide that the product isn’t right for you, you can return it within 14 days of delivery free of charge.  To qualify for this, the product must remain unopened, in its original packaging and still on the pallet.

If you’ve unpacked the product and haven’t installed it, you can still return it within the 14-day window. In this case, you’ll need to cover the cost of the return and ensure the item is securely repacked. You have two options:

- Arrange your own return to the manufacturer in West Yorkshire, or 
- Ask us to organise a collection for you (charges will vary depending on your location and the product)

We don’t add any extra fees – we’ll simply pass on the courier cost we’re charged.
