Flexible Door Positioning and Additional Doors

The Elite Sanctuary allows you to design the structure around your garden layout rather than the other way around. You can position the standard double doors on either the gable end or the length, making them ideal for patios, lean-to installations, or areas with limited access.

Thanks to the extra high eaves, you also have the option to add an additional door on the side or back to create a dual-access thoroughfare. This setup significantly enhances workflow and cross-ventilation, helping excess heat escape quickly during summer. Please note that while single doors can be placed on the sides of the 6x6 models, specifying double doors on the length requires a greenhouse with a minimum length of 8’.

Bespoke Aluminium Greenhouse Options

You have the flexibility to select bespoke options for this aluminium greenhouse. The options are available for any desired length, offered in unlimited 2ft increments. While the length can be tailored to individual preferences, please note that the front apex width remains fixed. The Elite range offers a variety of sizes, but if none fit your needs perfectly, simply let us know your preferred length, and we can customise it to your specifications.

To further refine your growing environment, you can upgrade the Sanctuary with additional manual or automatic roof and louvre vents, which are essential for precise airflow control at the base of the plants. For growers who wish to cultivate different plant species with varying temperature requirements, a double-door partition is available. This effectively divides the greenhouse into two independent zones, allowing you to propagate seedlings in one section while maintaining a cooler, ventilated environment for established plants in the other.

When installing your Elite Sanctuary Greenhouse, selecting the right base is crucial for stability and long-term use. One of the most popular methods is to create a level, flagged area. It is recommended to make the slabbed surface slightly larger than the greenhouse dimensions, as the listed measurements are nominal and the actual structure may be a few inches larger. Refer to the metric measurements in the specifications table to ensure the base is the correct size. For instance, for an 8’x6’ greenhouse, a slab area of 10’x8’ is ideal, allowing space for positioning water barrels and providing access for cleaning and maintenance.

If you are constructing your greenhouse on soft ground, such as soil or grass, solid support under the door cill is essential to prevent damage from repeated use. This can be achieved by placing flags under the cill or by using Elite’s soft-soil support, ensuring the door(s) run smoothly on the track. Whether installed on a hard or soft surface, Elite provides options to securely anchor the base, ensuring a stable foundation. If you plan to position the door along the length of the Sanctuary greenhouse, please contact us to confirm suitability before installation.

Aluminium Greenhouse Maintenance

Cleaning your greenhouse is crucial for enhancing the growing environment by removing algae, moss, and grime. It allows more light in and helps manage pests and diseases.

To maintain your greenhouse effectively, start by temporarily relocating your plants. Use a brush to clean tabletops, remove cobwebs from corners, and eliminate floor debris. Ensuring clean windows, both inside and out, is vital for maximising light levels. You can clean the glass, aluminium, and plastic surfaces with a microfibre cloth, using hot, soapy water or a commercial greenhouse cleaning product. Rinse with clean water and let it dry.

Booking Delivery

Between 15-20 working days after placing your order you’ll be contacted by telephone by our manufacturer’s delivery team with a delivery date. Your delivery is made by Elite’s own transport.

Upon Delivery

Delivery is between 7am to 7pm. Your order is a kerbside delivery in many instances the driver can deliver your order either to the side of your property or the back. You do not have to be present on the day of the delivery. If you are unable to be present please can you let the delivery team know when they call to book in your delivery date, as they will be able to leave the item somewhere safe this would be at your own risk. There must be no access or restriction issues. Unfortunately we will not be able to go through your property.
