The Absco Regent Metal Shed is made from tough Bluescope steel which is very strong and resistant to rust. It has powder coating steel framing for even more strength. The robust high tensile steel construction makes this shed ideal for storing valuable or heavy items. The steel will not rust, warp, split or tear. The exterior is finished in the colour Woodland Grey, a warm grey colour that is very popular in modern garden design. This metal storage is taller than the traditional wooden shed, ideal if you need to store larger items such as rakes and sports equipment. As a metal shed, it also has the significant advantage of being rot and fire-resistant unlike those made from timber. It requires minimum upkeep after construction, saving you time and money. They are pretty much maintenance-free - cleaning is a simple wipe down with hot, soapy water. Designed with security in mind, the Absco Regent Metal Shed has a secure windowless design to keep your garden equipment safe from prying eyes. The single door features a galvanised steel pad bolt to which you can attach your own padlock, allowing you to secure your shed’s contents. The Absco 10 x 5 Regent Metal Shed has an apex roof that helps to prevent the build-up of rainwater. The Absco 10 x 5 Regent Metal Shed must be anchored firmly to a suitable base. We recommend it is anchored to a pre-laid and level foundation of concrete, flagstone, or timber. Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY.   All of our Mercia products are delivered flat packed other than fence panels (which are delivered fully constructed), direct to your home, and are supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

Booking Delivery

This product is delivered via a third-party courier, DX. This service is available to the majority of areas, and you'll find that the majority of the UK postcodes are FREE but some areas may incur a delivery surcharge and some postcodes are not covered at all. You will also be notified at this time if your area incurs a surcharge or delivery is not covered in your area.

Delivery of your Absco Shed will be split between two processes depending on the weight of the item. Please refer to the specification table on the products page online to confirm how your delivery will take place.

Delivery of products 50kg and under: This should normally occur within 3 – 7 working days. DX will text you with your delivery date, if you have not supplied a mobile number on the billing page when placing the order, you should receive an email with an update. On the text message/email, you should receive tracking details to allow you to track the driver on the DX website.

Delivery of products over 50kg: This should normally occur within 10 working days. You should receive a text message from Mercia Garden Products (MGP Logistics) advising you of your delivery date. You should receive an email if no mobile number has been supplied on the billing page when placing the order. The day before delivery, DX will text you with an estimated time slot, if you have not supplied a mobile number on the billing page when placing the order, you should receive an email with an update. On the text message, you should receive tracking details to allow you to track the driver on the DX website.

Upon Delivery

Your order is delivered either kerbside or driveway and will be delivered on either a 3.5T, 7.5T or 18T Lorry. Unfortunately due to health and safety and insurance liabilities the driver will not be able to take your goods around to the back of your property but may upon request place the product at the side of the house if there are no access or restriction issues. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. Unfortunately, we will not be able to go through your property.

We would recommend against arranging for a third party to install the building before it's been delivered and checked that all parts are present, as we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Checking your delivery

You’re not expected to check your delivery on arrival. Once your order has been delivered, please ensure that all parts are fully checked and are present and correct before commencing the assembly of your order. You must not employ any tradesman until checks and/or replacement(s) have been made. In the unlikely event that replacement parts are required and to ensure the efficient delivery of parts, this request should be made directly to our manufacturer’s delivery team. We are unable to refund any parts purchased locally.

Self-Assembly of your product

Please ensure you read and follow the instructions. If you have any queries or experience any difficulties, then please contact the manufacturer on 01636 880 514 Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Do not attempt to modify or change the product or any parts without our prior approval as this may affect your consumer rights. Please do not continue to install your chosen item should you require help or replacement parts, by doing so, you will be accepting what has been delivered preventing us from helping you further.

Notes: Deliveries to the following areas may take a little longer: Cornwall, Exeter and rural Wales, Northern Scotland comprise postcodes AB31 to 38 & 41 to 56, FK19 to 21, all IV, KW1 to 14, PA21 to 40.
