The 12x8 Forest Timberdale Apex Shed is a premium outbuilding designed for ultimate flexibility. Its standout feature is the "combo" door system—a set of wide double doors and a separate single door—offering segmented access to the expansive 12x8 interior, and the single door provides access to a dedicated, smaller storage area. This configuration is ideal for creating distinct zones, such as a main workshop and a separate tool storage area. Built with a formidable, double-framed construction, this shed is a robust and intelligent addition to any garden.

Uncompromising quality is standard. The shed is fully clad in superior 12mm tongue-and-groove boards over a heavy-duty 66 x 33mm internal frame. This includes the strong T&G floor, which is protected from ground damp by Pressure-Treated bearers, and the T&G roof. The roof is finished with a premium 40g reinforced-polyester mineral felt covering (colour may vary). Natural light and ventilation are supplied by two opening windows, glazed with 4mm toughened safety glass. Security and access are paramount; both the double doors and the single door are internally braced with "Z" framing, Smooth Planed All Round (PAR), and secured with high-quality rim locks.

Workshop PLUS Separate Storage Area

Designed for flexibility and practicality, the Workshop PLUS with divided storage provides the perfect balance between workspace and secure storage.

The main workshop area is accessed through sturdy ledged and braced double doors, giving generous entry for larger tools or equipment. For peace of mind, the doors feature turn buttons, internal bolts and a fitted rim lock, keeping your belongings protected. 

A separate enclosed storage area, crafted from matching tongue and groove cladding, sits alongside the workshop. This section is accessed via its own ledged and braced single door, fitted with the same robust security features as the main doors. The door can be hung left or right-handed, making it easy to position the building to suit your garden layout.

Pressure-Treated Wood with a Timberdale Guarantee – Built to Last and Minimise Maintenance:

This Timberdale shed has been pressure-treated, forcing preservatives deep into the timber grain for complete protection against rot. This superior treatment is backed by an unbeatable 25-year anti-rot guarantee, the longest on the market. The treatment may leave a greenish tinge on the wood; this is normal and will grey over time.

The shed is completely maintenance-free, meaning it will never require retreating with a preservative, EVER. With a Timberdale Shed, you save an estimated £200 in time and treatment costs, compared to dip-treated sheds. 

The manufacturer advises that if you want to paint your timber shed with a different colour, ensure the treatment you choose is recommended for pressure-treated timber.

Fully Modular Design

This shed features an improved, fully modular design, allowing full interchangeability between panels of the same size. It is delivered in smaller, easier-to-handle sections that make assembly more straightforward. This design uses more timber, resulting in a significantly more robust final build and greater flexibility in how you configure the shed.

Walls, Floor, and Roof

This shed boasts a premium 12mm tongue and groove cladding on a robust 66mm x 33mm internal frame, delivering a superior, weatherproof finish that resists warping.  The floor is also a robust 12mm T&G interlocking board, strong enough for heavy items and supported by pressure-treated bearers to protect against ground damp. The 12mm T&G roof is finished with a high-grade, 140g reinforced polypropylene-backed mineral felt, ensuring the building and its contents remain dry and protected.

White Glove Delivery Service

This shed is delivered using Forest's premium White Glove Delivery Service. The specialist team will deliver the components directly to your chosen spot in the garden, saving you the effort of heavy lifting. As part of this service, they will also remove and take away all packaging, leaving your garden tidy and ready for assembly.

This wooden shed is supplied flat-packed for self-assembly. For ultimate convenience, you can choose our professional installation service.

Once your order is placed, the manufacturer’s installation team will send a short pre-installation questionnaire. This simple check confirms that your site is suitably flat and level, ensuring the installation day runs smoothly.

If your foundation is prepared and access is clear, the expert installers will handle the complete build. Please note that the installation team cannot dismantle or remove old buildings.

Whether you build the shed yourself or use our service, please ensure a 24-inch (60cm) clearance is left around the entire structure. This space is essential for both the assembly process and any future maintenance.

Wooden Shed Base Kit

A solid, level base is vital for the longevity of your shed. All Forest Sheds have a floor included as standard. This optional wooden shed base kit does not replace the included floor but fixes to it to provide support and help create a level surface. The base kit provides a fast, cost-effective, and simple DIY solution, an excellent alternative to laying concrete or paving slabs. The kit consists of a robust framework made from UC4 incised timber, which has been pressure-treated to the highest standard for permanent ground contact.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY. All of the Forest products are delivered flat-packed, (other than fence panels which are delivered fully constructed) direct to your home, and are supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.

Delivery

With the majority of Forest products, you will be required to book your delivery date at the time of placing your order. Our 'Request a Delivery Date' service is available to the majority of areas and you'll find that the majority of the UK postcodes are FREE but some areas may incur a delivery surcharge and some postcodes are not covered at all. Select a 'requested delivery date' by entering your postcode in the 'Request a delivery date' section above. You will also be notified at this time if your area incurs a surcharge or delivery is not covered in your area.

Where 'Request a Delivery Date' is not available on a product, you will be contacted towards the end of your timescale by Forest/their chosen Courier with a delivery date. If this date is not convenient you can reply to the message to book a more convenient delivery date. The delivery timescales are as stated on the product page.

Prior to Delivery

Once you have a confirmed delivery date if you provide us with a mobile number this should be the first number and not the alternative number), we can confirm the day before delivery if your delivery will be morning or afternoon.

Upon Delivery

Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health, safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but – upon request – may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.

We advise against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivered and checking that all parts are present,  we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays.
